National Museum in Krakow – Arms and Uniforms in Poland
Completed 2023

This is the largest exhibition of early modern arms and armour that we have produced to date. The development and production of dedicated mounts for such a diverse collection of weapons was particularly challenging. The collection ranges from small, delicate objects to heavy firearms. We are particularly proud of the mannequins, which were made to the individual measurements of the armour and uniforms on display.

As part of the project, we delivered detailed technical designs for the display cases, a lighting intensity simulation, and the previously mentioned custom mounting systems. The scope included, among other elements, custom-made display cases designed to meet high conservation standards, with airtightness ensuring less than 0.4 air changes per day (ACD < 0.4), and LED lighting with adjustable intensity. The cases were equipped with security glass featuring an anti-reflective coating, as well as a dual-level access locking system.
