Wawel Royal Castle – The Porcelain Cabinet

The Porcelain Cabinet is a project we are especially proud of. Based on a concept by Rafał Bartkowicz, and brought to life using specially designed mirrors, it offers a light, elegant presentation of the collection. The display cases highlight the uniqueness of each piece while remaining discreet, allowing the craftsmanship of the Royal Meissen Porcelain Manufactory to take centre stage.

As part of the project, we developed the detailed technical design of the display cases, carried out light distribution simulations, and created bespoke mounting solutions tailored to each object. We were also responsible for the fabrication and installation of the entire exhibition, including its integrated lighting. The display cases were custom-designed to provide a high level of conservation protection (ACD < 0.4). They feature carefully controlled LED lighting using a DALI system, as well as laminated security glass with an anti-reflective coating. Security is further enhanced by a bespoke dual-level locking system.

The overall experience is further enhanced by audio-visual elements designed and installed by our team.
